After drilling out the spot welds and removing the brackets that held the passive seat belt track I was able to test fit the '86 trim. It looked like it will fit good. The problem is the head liner. It looks like the '91 head liner is shorter so it does not come all the way down to the trim. Humm.... I think I will be able to fill that gap better than where the belt tracks were. or something I'll have to look at it some more. It was 1:00 am at the time and I was kind of tired.Looks like soon I will be painting the plastic.
